Costume Construction

VU's Theatre Program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre and offers hands-on training starting with your first semester in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.

The Costume Construction program is designed to train individuals in costume design and construction. Career opportunities exist in many diverse fields such as musical theatre, theatre, television, and film, as well as the fashion industry. Some of the job titles are costume designer, costumer, costume technician, and wardrobe supervisor.

Vincennes University’s reputation and on-going articulation agreements with four-year schools ensures that classes and credits are transferable to colleges in Indiana and throughout the country.
