Gabe Palmquist-Clark or “Coach PC” is in his first year as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Vincennes University. Palmquist-Clark Comes to VU after spending the 2016-17 season at Kilgore College in Region 14 of the NJCAA. At Kilgore Palmquist-Clark was responsible for post player development, travel, academics, film, recruiting, among other things. At VU Palmquist-Clark will have responsibilities of weight training, study tables, film, recruiting, among other duties.


During the 2015-16 season, he was an assistant coach at Western Oregon University under head coach Jim Shaw. At WOU he established coaching aspects in the program such as scouting reports, post player development and recruiting. At WOU, he helped guide the program to 31-4 record, D2 Final Four appearance, No. 1 ranking in D2, No. 3 final ranking in D2 and most wins in men’s basketball WOU history and conference history.


Palmquist-Clark was also an assistant coach at Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif. in 2014-15 where his primary duties were scouting reports, recruiting, big-men skill development and video coordinating. In 2014, Palmquist-Clark also served as an assistant coach at Clark College, and he was the assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at Lane Community College from 2012-14.


He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a Sports Business focus) at the University of Oregon and earned a Master's Degree of Science Education from Western Oregon University in 2016.


Palmquist-Clark was a four-year scholar athlete at Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon, where he was coached by Western Oregon basketball alumni Don Emry. Palmquist-Clark’s family resides through-out the west coast.
