VU's Theatre Program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre and offers hands-on training starting with your first semester in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.
The VU Theatre Arts/Acting program provides intensive instruction in the theoretical, technical, interpretive, and performance aspects of theatre. Students will develop their acting, interpretation, and movement skills. At completion of the program, graduates will be trained in the aspects of general theatre and fully prepared to complete their baccalaureate degree at a transfer institution.
Vincennes University’s reputation and on-going articulation agreements with four-year schools ensures that classes and credits are transferable to colleges in Indiana and throughout the country.
