Chronic disease management, physicals, diagnostic tests, immunizations and prescriptions are not covered under this plan and are the responsibility of the student.

Where is the University Primary Care Center Located?
The University Primary Center is located on the first floor of the Young Building at 1023 N. Fourth Street on the University campus.

Who will I see when I go?
Students will be assessed and treated by a health office nurse. Referral to a provider is determined by nursing assessment.

How much will it cost?
If you have paid the Student Health Office Fee, it is free to see the nurse, and if referred, to see the UPCC provider. Referrals to other providers will be the responsibility of the student. The University recommends that all students have some type of health insurance to cover medical needs.

Can I get my prescription filled there?
No. If they write you a prescription, you may have it filled at the pharmacy of your choice and you will be responsible for the cost of the prescription.
